Chania and Vrysses

Chania is considered the spiritual capital of Crete, even though Iraklion is the official capital. The city of Hania is famous for its Venetian streets and harbours that witness its long and rich history, as it has survived wartime bombardments and has become an atmospheric modern site that made tourism boom. Approximately 30 kms to the Southeast of Chania one comes across the village Vrysses, a mostly rustic place, unlike the urban Hania. Situated about 1km away from Vrisses are the Braoudakis Family Guest Houses, waiting to welcome all travelers with their traditional, nature-friendly architecture.
